Single Page Calligraphy
She Walks in Beauty - Calligraphy by squirrelismyfriend
The 23rd Psalm in Calligraphy by squirrelismyfriend
Will produce a hand-lettered piece of calligraphy on an 8.5" x 14" (US Legal) size sheet of ivory parchment paper (or smaller, if you so desire).  You may select from the following ink colors:  black, brown, blue, red, and green.  You may also select a style of calligraphic font, such as italic, gothic, blackletter, Uncial, and yes, even Tengwar (for you LOTR fans).

I don't have a specific word count limit, but please don't ask for me to fit the entire Canterbury Tales on one page!  ;)  And speaking of Canterbury Tales, I don't do profanity, so keep it clean (unlike the Miller's Tale).  Keep in mind that I'll be using Sheaffer or Manuscript fine, medium, broad, 2B, 3B, or 4B nibs, so there will be a physical limit on what can fit.  Contact me with your request in advance so we can hash out the details before starting.

This will be a hand-lettered piece, not something done digitally using Windows or Mac fonts.  However, if you have a particular Windows or Mac font in mind, let me know and I will try to duplicate it (within reason - grunge fonts, for example, cannot be easily done by hand).

Finished work will be scanned at very high resolution and posted so you may either download it or make a print of it (DeviantArt print cost not included in commission fee).  You may also request the original to be mailed to you.

Watchers

I used to have a Facebook account under the name Makin' Biscuits.

That is the name under which I am producing Invader Zim animation as well as other video work.  However, the Facebook doofuses are now demanding that everyone use their real name and other personal information, and attempt to enforce that by requiring copies of "government-issued identification" (such as a driver's license) be sent to them.  In this day and age when there are so many identity thieves trolling the Internet, every security person on the planet says NOT to put your personal information out where everyone can see it, and yet Facebook (unlike DeviantArt) demands that you throw your personal info out where all can see (and harvest) it.

No thanks, FB.  I can do without the Book of Faces perfectly well, thankyouverymuchkbyenowhaveagoodlifedontforgettowrite.

Yep.  Just with the relocation of the television production studio, I have not had time for anything else.

Okay, I remember now. My apologies if I came off as pushy.

Just reply whenever convenient, and we'll discuss things further from there. :)
